BUYER GUIDE

Your first project guide

Try a fictional example

A requirement for 10 X and 10 Y, two suppliers and a conditional discount. Documents and expected amounts are teaching material, with no real customer or performance promise.

The download is free. Interpreting the files in a project follows the normal workflow, using your configured interpretation provider and one credit.

Worked example: EUR 200 of goods from A, less EUR 40 discount, giving EUR 160. Without that discount, X from B and Y from A would cost EUR 185, including EUR 5 in fees. The example includes the clauses needed to examine these assumptions.

  1. Prepare documents

Add buyer requirements and quotes, or a combined document. PDF, TXT, CSV and XLSX are accepted. Identify SKUs, units, cumulative quantities by deadline, currency, fees, tiers, validity, capacities and commitments. The download includes a CSV requirement template.

  2. Read and check the meaning

Interpretation proposes conditions with their source clauses. It may take several minutes. The screen shows the configured time limit and progress; completion notification depends on the displayed email transport. Missing information remains a question.

  3. Correct and accept

Open the business item to correct. Enter discounts as percentages. Save each section to your draft, then finish the corrections with a reason. Accept the exact version afterwards. A scenario retains its hypothetical status.

  4. Calculate and compare

Calculation seeks an allocation within the accepted conditions. A separate check recalculates quantities and costs. Choose a reference plan and review differences in conditions, allocation and dates. Differences do not prove realised savings.

  5. Share a traceable result

Excel includes the summary, allocations, supplier costs, conditions and sources. CSV includes lines and their version; fixed fees are in Excel. “Print / save as PDF” opens the browser's print dialog. The JSON packet and separate receipt support reproducible verification.

No order is placed automatically. Actual commitments, coverage of all clauses and realised savings require separate evidence.
